As a member of our creative community, we want you to be aware of a few events coming up at Epiphany Space in Hollywood. There is much more coming up next week, but these are the most time-sensitive!
Artist’s Listening Group 5/15 @7pm
Creative life is influenced by spiritual life, and the health of one nourishes the experience of the other. Epiphany Space hosts artist listening groups every month to help equip creative professionals to hear God’s voice and partner with the Holy Spirit to create.
This month we will be joined by special guest Matthew Yeoman, who will help us understand the concept of God’s will. Matt’s life has led him through some seasons of clear direction and many others of blaring ambiguity. He knows all too well the challenges that face our generation living in Los Angeles and his passion is to see people become fully alive in the midst of it.
We’ll begin with a time of quiet “soaking” in God’s presence, then hear from Matt and pray together. Please feel welcome to invite anyone you feel would enjoy this event!
The Artist’s Way summer study group
Mondays, June 1-August 24 @1pm
The artists way The Artist’s Way is a best-selling guide for cultivating creativity. Ever since Julia Cameron wrote it in 1992, the book has sold in the millions and inspired creative professionals, amateurs, and hopefuls to get “unblocked” and embrace their own unique voice.
We would love to lead a small group study of The Artist’s Way through the summer. It’s 12 weeks long and entails a weekly discussion and daily writing as we process the themes of the book.
If you are interested in joining us – and can meet on Monday afternoons for an hour or two – please let us know! We are gauging the interest and availability of our community to participate in something like this, and your input is vital. Just reply to this email or message us on Facebook or Twitter.

Write-A-Thon 6/13
Saturday and Sunday, 8am-8pm
We enjoyed a fabulous Write-A-Thon over the weekend, and are eager to do it again! More information will be coming soon, but meanwhile mark your calendar for the next Write-A-Thon taking place June 13-14. Link arms with other writers, cozy up to your favorite writing implement, and let’s knock out some pages!
