Big doings at Epiphany Space this month!
First off, we are four days in to the National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo), and as an official Come Write In location for communal novel writing, Epiphany Space is throwing open our doors for the novelists among us.
This month only, WriMos can write for FREE on Fridays! That’s right – any time between 11am and 7pm on Friday, bring those pages and type away in a quiet, focused space that allows for a friendly chat between coffee cups. Plenty of parking on the street! Let us cheer you on as you pour your heart into your next 5,000 words.
Speaking of focused writing…
We’re having a Write-A-Thon! Mark your calendars and set your goals, because the weekend of NOVEMBER 15-16 we’ll be open from 8am to 8pm – 24 hours to focus on your script, novel, thesis or any other such writing project.
To make it even more exciting, we’ll have consultants available for one-on-ones, brainstorm sessions for those sticky plot points, mini celebrations for every milestone, and table reads for selected portions of your script! Registration is $25 and includes all of the above as well as WiFi, unlimited coffee and tea, and the motivation to git ‘er done. Check back later this week for more details.
WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 5 is a Women’s Entertainment Networking night hosted by Molly Matthews. The event starts at 7:30 and is open to “women who are tired of networking.” If you’re a woman working behind the scenes in entertainment, consider coming out tomorrow.
Take a look at the Facebook event (you don’t need to have an account in order to view the event information) – hope you can come!
Mark your calendars for our next Listening Group, a time of spiritual reflection and practice hearing God’s voice. Friday night, NOVEMBER 14 is our next group and we warmly welcome all newcomers, oldcomers, and everytimers.
That’s all for now. More info on the Write-A-Thon very soon… meanwhile if you have a suggestion for events or services at Epiphany Space, please say so! Your comments and social posts are welcome.
