Erin Brown Thomas
Erin hails from Akron, OH and is a graduate of Malone University. Her work has taken her all over the United States and across the world with such clients as the United States Marine Corp, the J. Walter Thompson ad agency, Interscope Records, Universal Label, Radio Disney, Belvedere Vodka, and Nestle.
Erin’s passion for narrative storytelling began with the music video “Courage Is” by The Strange Familiar, which ABC Family picked up for broadcast nationwide. Her most recent music videos have been featured on MTVu and vh1.com, shooting indie artists to the front of public notice.
Erin’s work on feature-length documentaries started as editor for the motocross feature The Great Outdoors: The Destroyers, and continued the following year with The Great Outdoors: American Summer. Her directorial debut in was Intrepid: The Zac Sunderland Story, Part 2. The documentary profiled the youngest sailor to ever navigate solo around the world.
Erin is currently in production on her second feature film Honeychild with Executive producers Martha Cotton (NBC News, Volcano), Kat Landsberg (The Nanny, Jane by Design, Conan O’ Brien Can’t Stop), Fey Hauser Price (Akeelah and The Bee), and Donna Parish (Raising Hope).
