Welcome, Morgan Nikola-Wren!
Epiphany Space is eager to announce our summer 2019 artist in residence!
Author and poet Morgan Nikola-Wren is thrilled at the opportunity to work with Epiphany Space. She began writing for various literary periodicals in 2013, is a winner of the Pangaea Worldwide Poetry Slam, 2016, and has published three books of poetry.
Morgan’s debut book, Magic with Skin On, received a Goodreads Choice nomination for Best Poetry Book of 2017. She was most recently selected to have her work appear in Amanda Lovelace’s latest release, The Mermaid’s Voice Returns in This One, alongside Lovelace and 12 other leading female poets.
Morgan ran away with her husband’s circus for a year, but now works at a school library, which is not all that different. She is perpetually searching for new favorite words, more black clothing, and the perfect design for her next tattoo.
Morgan will be leading events and workshops for writers and readers in the coming months. The first is a Poetry Writing Workshop taking place at Epiphany Space on Wednesday, June 19 at 7pm. Mark your calendar now and keep an eye out for additional events!
